About

Jessie MacBeth brings formidable women into focus: the warrior with a tender heart, the mother whose love becomes dangerous, the outsider determined to be heard. Her work spans Off-Broadway, national touring, regional theatre, original cast recordings and new-musical development, connecting heightened drama, musical storytelling, and character comedy.

Her stage credits include Louise Soubirous in the U.S. National tour of Bernadette, Margaret White in Carrie at Tantrum Theater, the title role in Xena: Warrior Musical Off-Broadway, Catherine in Pippin at Regional Theater of Palouse, and Jeanie in Hair at Playhouse on Park. Additional credits include Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar, The Mysteries at the Flea Theater, and world-premiere productions of Jesus and Samson at Sight & Sound.

Passionate about new work and queer storytelling, Jessie has helped bring original characters to life through productions, workshops, and readings, including Party of the Century by Ryan Scott Oliver, Rebel Genius, Dandelion, and Wunderkind. She has performed at 54 Below, Green Room 42, and the Museum of Broadway. Jessie is the voice of Xena on the Original Cast recording of Xena: Warrior Musical and featured on Winner: A New Musical Concept Album.
